I. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the collection, use, storage, sharing, deletion, and protection of your personal data when you use the Tevent iOS application and its related services.
In this policy, "we," "us," or "our" refers to the Tevent service provider, as well as the infrastructure and processing service providers necessary to cooperate with us to provide this service.
II. Types of Data We Collect
- Data you provide directly: This may include your email address, nickname, login credentials, school email or Microsoft school account login data, avatar, and any information you voluntarily provide, such as your region, gender, MBTI, health status, dietary habits, religious beliefs, and privacy display preferences (these are not mandatory).
- Data generated from community and event features: This may include posts, comments, direct messages, favorites, likes, following relationships, reported content, event registration data, organization verification data, ticket verification data, uploaded images, event interaction records, and corresponding timestamps.
- Automatically collected technical data: We may automatically collect necessary technical data, such as device model, system version, App version, login status, network request logs, error and crash records, cache data, and operational records required for security risk management.
- Subscription data: If you activate, restore, or manage Tevent Pro or other subsequent paid membership services, we may process subscription-related information provided by the Apple App Store or available for our verification. This includes product identification, purchase or restoration results, transaction verification status, subscription validity period, membership benefit status, and necessary error information, to activate, maintain, restore, or limit corresponding membership features for you. We do not directly collect or store your full payment card details; actual deductions, renewals, refunds, and billing management are handled by Apple in accordance with its terms and policies.
III. Paid Subscriptions and Membership Benefits
- Apple App Store Processing: If you purchase Tevent Pro or other subsequent paid membership services, related subscriptions are processed by the Apple App Store according to its terms, including deductions, renewals, refunds, billing management, and partial transaction verification.
- Auto-Renewal: For auto-renewing products, the subscription may automatically renew for each billing cycle unless you cancel it in advance in your Apple account settings.
- Membership Adjustments: Membership benefits take effect based on system records upon successful purchase or restoration. They may be modified, suspended, or terminated due to expiration, cancellation, refunds, revoked transactions, risk control measures, abnormal account status, or product adjustments. We reserve the right to reasonably adjust the specific content, usage limits, display formats, and scope of application for membership features.
IV. How We Collect Data
We primarily collect data through the following methods:
- Direct Submission: When you register, log in, complete your profile, post, chat, register for events, submit verification, upload images, scan tickets, use AI features, or submit a report/appeal to us.
- Automatic Generation/Synchronization: Some data is automatically generated or synchronized by the system when you use the service, such as authentication status, cache, error logs, security audit records, and device-level authorization status.
- Third-Party Services: If you use third-party logins or features, we may obtain the minimum necessary data from the respective service providers to complete the login or fulfill the function.
- Password Reset: When you use the forgot password or reset password feature, we process your submitted email address and send a password reset email via an authentication service provider. When you click the reset link in the email and return to the App, we may also process technical information related to this authentication, the reset process, and session recovery to verify your identity and complete the password update.
